The Eu Intends to Revise the Maximum Residual Limit of Quinacaryl Ether in Apricot Kernels


The European Union's food safety authority (EFSA) has issued an opinion on amending the maximum residue limit for fenazaquin by proposing a relaxation of the limit in apricot kernels, according to the European Union's food safety agency (EFSA).


It is understood that Gowan Crop Protection Ltd has submitted an application to Greece to amend the maximum residual limit of quinacaryl ether in accordance with article 6 of the European commission regulation (EC) no. 396/2005.


Under article 8 of the European commission's regulation no. 396/2005 (EC), Greece drafted an assessment report, submitted it to the European commission and then transferred it to the European food safety authority.
